Neil Mayers

Neil Myers is a classically trained composer, specialising in orchestral scores for TV and film. After studying at Leeds College of Music he went on to complete an MA in Composition for Film & Television. Upon graduation he won the Wilfred Joseph Award for best film and theatre work.

Neil has worked professionally for the past six years and his scores have covered a multitude of genres, including documentaries, sports promos & titles, advertising, theatre, programme and idents and most recently feature film.

His work can be seen on channels such as Sky Sports, Sky Arts, ITV, Five, Discovery, Bravo and Sky One. Most notably he composed the promos of Gilette Soccer Saturday and Spanish Football, both aired on BSkyB.

Neil has worked in conjunction with AMR Entertainment since 2004’s theatre show “Broadcast” and has composed the originals core for every piece of AMR’s output since. All the jingles and cool music you hear on the AMR Movie Show are his too!
